The “Bakhtawar Amin College of Pharmaceutical Sciences” is sponsored by of Bakhtawar Amin Group of companies. Mian Muhammad Rasheed and his family are the founders of Bakhtawar Amin Group, who are well-known figures of Multan having vast experience of running and establishing of large institutions in health care. The group companies are also engaged in Spinning business since 1950s. They have also established a welfare Trust which provides valuable services in the health and education sectors to the poor and needy.

The “Bakhtawar Amin College of Pharmaceutical Sciences” has been established at Main Boulevard, Northern Bypass, Multan having most modern and well-equipped purpose-built campus. Main features of the college are given below.

  • The college is affiliated with “Baha Uddin Zakaria University (BZU) Multan which is one of the high-ranking universities of the country.

 Highly qualified (PHD & M. Phil) faculty members will provide teaching facilities to the students to complete their five years Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree program.

 Best learning systems, environment and infrastructure is available for the students at college campus, which includes highly equipped labs, library having large number of related books & Journals. Computer Lab etc.

  • The college is affiliated with teaching hospital “Bakhtawar Amin Memorial Trust Hospital” for Clinical training of the students in the same vicinity of college campus.

  • Health Department Government of the Punjab: Jobs of Drug Controller, Deputy Drug Controller, Drug Inspector, Hospital Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacists, Drug testing laboratories, Punjab Forensic Science agency, Drug Regulatory affairs, Consultation etc.
  • Academia and Research Departments:  Jobs of Lecturer, Research associates, Research and Development.
  • NGOs : Jobs as research officers in WHO and others.
  • Government and Private Hospitals and CMH, Pharmacy Services: Pharm D Doctors are offered services as Head / Deputy Head of department for dispensing and compounding of the medicines, drug procurement, distribution and therapeutic monitoring. They advise rational use of drugs and patient managed care with proper training in the relevant fields. They are also working in army hospitals in Pakistan and pharmacy cores outside the country.
  • Drug Testing Laboratories: These are the services rendered by the Pharmacists in Provincial and Federal Drug Testing Labs by analyzing the drug samples taken from medical stores, pharmacies and Pharma industries. 
  • Pharmaceutical and Herbal Industry : As production managers, QC managers, QA managers, and Procurement, legislation, officers, Marketing, Sales etc.
  • Community Pharmacy: Community Services Pharmacists also render their services in community pharmacies for handling extemporaneous and non-extemporaneous pharmaceutical products. They relieve the burden on physicians and surgeons. The patient’s counseling and guidance is also looked after by them. They also contribute in EPI and emergency services i.e. poison control, etc.
  • Drug Information Centers: The rational use of the drugs is the need of the time and the pharmacist in this regard can play very vital role by establishing these centers. People located in any area of this global village may share and have an opinion from the experts. This is surely a new venue for E-commerce as well as service to humanity.
  • Drug Courts: High profile professionals are essential to constitute the Provincial or Federal Drug Courts as technical members for evaluations of cases and recommendations of penalties according to the Drug Act
