Bakhtawar Amin College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a project of the Bakhtawar Amin Group of Companies. Founded by Mian Muhammad Rasheed and his family—prominent figures in Multan—the group has extensive experience in establishing and managing large institutions in the healthcare sector. In addition to their contributions to health and education, the group has been engaged in the spinning industry since the 1950s. They have also established a welfare trust that provides valuable services in healthcare and education to the underprivileged.
The Bakhtawar Amin College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is located on Main Boulevard, Northern Bypass, Multan. It features a modern, purpose-built campus equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Key features of the college include:

- The candidates who have secured at least 60% marks in F.SC. (Pre-Medical) are eligible to get admission in Pharm-D.

- Health Department Government of the Punjab: Jobs of Drug Controller, Deputy Drug Controller, Drug Inspector, Hospital Pharmacists, Clinical Pharmacists, Drug testing laboratories, Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Consultation, etc.
- Academia and Research Departments: Jobs of Lecturer, Research Associates, Research and Development roles.
- NGOs: Jobs as Research Officers in WHO and other organizations.
- Government and Private Hospitals & CMH, Pharmacy Services: Pharm D doctors are offered roles as Head / Deputy Head of departments for dispensing and compounding medicines, drug procurement, distribution, and therapeutic monitoring. They also advise on rational drug use and patient-managed care. They work in army hospitals in Pakistan and pharmacy corps abroad.
- Drug Testing Laboratories: Pharmacists analyze drug samples taken from medical stores, pharmacies, and pharma industries in Provincial and Federal Drug Testing Labs.
- Pharmaceutical and Herbal Industry: Roles include Production Managers, QC Managers, QA Managers, Procurement Officers, Legislation Officers, Marketing, Sales, etc.
- Community Pharmacy: Pharmacists handle extemporaneous and non-extemporaneous pharmaceutical products in community pharmacies, assist with patient counseling and guidance, and support EPI and emergency services like poison control.
- Drug Information Centers: Pharmacists establish and run centers to ensure rational use of medicines, offering expert opinions globally. This opens new opportunities in both E-commerce and public health service.
